About this Sacred Grove

Adilam Ilangaliyamman Temple, Hosur, Krishnagiri - Located in Adilam village near Hosur in Krishnagiri district, this is a powerful shrine of Goddess Ilangaliyamman, worshipped as the young and fierce mother goddess of the village. The temple is especially crowded on Tuesdays, Fridays and Aadi month with pongal, bangles, turmeric and neem offerings, attracting women devotees seeking health, protection and prosperity.
