This sacred grove is located at Athencode village, near Nagercoil (Nagarkovil), Agastheeswaram Taluk, Kanyakumari District, Tamil Nadu. The grove spans 1.4 hectares with dense vegetation and medicinal plants. Protected by local villagers and temple committee, any tree cutting is taboo. Annual Kodai and Aayilyam poojas are celebrated. It conserves biodiversity and traditional belief systems.
