The presiding deity is Isakkiyamman, worshipped for child welfare, protection from evil and prosperity. The grove spans approximately 1.8 hectares with dense, undisturbed sacred vegetation. Maintained by local community and temple committee, cutting of trees and plucking of plants are strictly prohibited. Annual Kodai Vizha festival is celebrated with devotion. The grove conserves biodiversity, folk traditions and ecological balance.
