This temple of Kavarapattii village, Kaliyamman is located towards the northern direction of the main Kulithalai town on the banks of a beautiful temple tank. Regular pujas are performed on Tuesdays and Fridays. There is a separate shrine for Lord Vinayagar inside the temple. The Annual festival is conducted during the Chithirai Tiruvizha tamil month and devotees offer Mulaipari (sprouts), Pongal Rice and animal sacrifices also the Goddess.
