This sacred grove is located at Marthandam, Vilavancode Taluk, Kanyakumari District, Tamil Nadu. The presiding deity is Isakkiyamman, worshipped for child protection, relief from fear and prosperity. The grove spans approximately 2.8 hectares with dense, undisturbed evergreen vegetation. Maintained by local community and temple committee, cutting of trees and collection of forest produce are strictly prohibited. Annual Kodai Vizha festival is celebrated grandly. The grove conserves biodiversity, folk traditions and ecological balance.
