About this Sacred Grove
This temple is found in Aththikombai forest. There is also a shrine for Madurai Veeran within the grove. During the annual festival observed in the month of Aadi (July to August) people sacrifice goats and hens for fulfilling their wishes. The local community maintain the temple.
