This is the sixth padai veedu of Lord Murugan situated on the Pazhamudhircholai hills maintained by the HR&CE. It is also called Solai Malai. Arunagirinathar has sung Thiruppugazh on this deity. Major festivals observed here are Kanda Sashti (October – November). Thai poosam (January – February) and Aadi Kiruthigai (July to August).
