Sanasandiram Kalikambal Temple is a revered Shakti shrine located in Sanasandiram village near Hosur, Krishnagiri district. Goddess Kalikambal, the fierce yet motherly form of Kali, is worshipped here as the protector from evil forces, black magic and diseases. Folklore says the goddess self-manifested in this place to guard the villagers from frequent evil spirit attacks and cattle loss. Devotees believe she is very powerful for curing fear, health problems, child-related issues and marriage obstacles. Tuesdays and Fridays see huge crowds, with devotees offering kumkum archana, lemon garlands and pongal. She is believed to grant courage, family protection and removal of evil eye instantly.
