Thengaipattinam Palathadi Bhadreswari Thirukaavu is located at Palathadi, Thengaipattinam village, Kalkulam Taluk, Kanyakumari District, Tamil Nadu. Spread over 1.2 hectares and dedicated to Goddess Bhadreswari, a protective form of Shakthi, the grove is strictly protected by local beliefs and taboos against felling trees.It preserves dense coastal vegetation, sacred trees, medicinal herbs and habitat for birds and reptiles, serving as a biodiversity refuge that supports groundwater recharge and ecological balance, reflecting the Bhathreshwari worship tradition of the coastal Kanyakumari region.
