This sacred grove is located at Thirparappu village, Vilavancode Taluk, Kanyakumari District, Tamil Nadu, near the famous Thirparappu Falls. The presiding deity is Lord Mahadevar (Shiva), worshipped for prosperity, health and spiritual upliftment. The grove spans approximately 4.3 hectares with dense sacred vegetation and old-growth trees. Maintained by temple authorities and local community, felling of trees and removal of forest produce are strictly prohibited. Maha Shivaratri festival is celebrated grandly. The grove preserves biodiversity, Shaiva traditions and ecological harmony.
