The Bijagad Sacred Grove, centered around the historic Bijagarh Fort and the Bijagad Mahadev Temple, is a spiritually and ecologically significant site nestled in the Satpura Mountain Range of the Khargone district, Madhya Pradesh. It functions as a protected natural pocket where local tribal traditions intersect with religious and environmental preservation.
The heart of the grove is a natural cave shrine housing a Swayambhu (self-manifested) Shiva Lingam. Water continuously trickles down from the rocks above, performing a natural ritual bathing (abhishek) of the deity. It is popularly referred to by locals as the "Amarnath of Satpura". Surrounded by Teak tree.
